The Practice

El Dorado Capital

A corporate development advisory firm working exclusively in cybersecurity. The core of the work is running the acquisition function for companies that need one — strategy and thesis, sourcing and pipeline, the build-buy-or-partner decision, diligence, and execution — and staying on between transactions rather than arriving for a deal and leaving after it.

Alongside that runs a value creation practice for cybersecurity companies and their boards — revenue quality, pricing, route to market, margin structure and the plan that carries a business to its next valuation — together with selected sell-side and capital raise mandates. All of it rests on a research practice maintained daily rather than assembled per engagement — the same base that produces the Cyber Security Wiki.
